The urgency of European cyber resilience
Cyberattacks on European airports this past weekend have once again shown the fragility of our critical infrastructure. These incidents are part of a wider pattern, where hostile actors are exploiting digital vulnerabilities to destabilise and disrupt.
Europe has already responded with measures such as the NIS2 directive, which strengthens security requirements and accountability across essential sectors. Yet legislation alone cannot provide resilience. European companies must take decisive action to strengthen their defences now.
